What is Connect Retreat?
Connect Retreat is all about exchanging knowledge, collaborating and connecting with like-minded people. This is for the people that would like to experience facilitating a retreat and learn more about organisation while at the same time recharging their battery and getting inspired by other participants' skills and gifts. Each guests is either a facilitator, instructor or interested in slowing down and connecting deeply with others. Each guest walks away from Connect Retreat’s with a full digital upgrade including photos from their workshops as well as the opportunity for a full branding shoot.
Maartje: retreat host coach + strategist
Maartje is a corporate boss babe turned entrepreneurial genius who not only hosts retreats, but focuses on helping other entrepreneurs and companies organise their retreats. This is done through her signature 1 on 1 program: The Retreat Academy.
I affectionately call Maartje my work wife as we have worked really closely together on two retreats as well as other projects outside of this. She’s smart as a whip and as sensitive as they come while still keeping her ‘take no shit’ sense of humor front and center.

Her content and her creative vision to make things look beautiful. her kindness and accessibility makes it that everybody enjoys being photographed and likes sharing their process with her.
What would you say to people thinking about inviting Lindsay to a retreat/adventure with them?
Everybody should take Lindsay on their retreat! She’s fun to work with, her creative mind make you get results that you haven’t thought before and she moves very mindful in between participants, really being part of the group making it fun for everybody to be in the picture and enjoy Lindsays company
Who do you think is well suited for Lindsay to collaborate with?
The people that have idea but love to give out some creative space as well, doing retreats, maybe a bit more on the adventurous side of things.
